This is communicating adventure. The way the guy is posed with the monocular shows they’re looking for something. The warm lighting gives a sense of warmth that you associate with adventure. Being on top of something makes you want to look out for more things.

That was the day the world changed. The fog settled over the mountains and it finally went quiet. After years the human race was finally gone. Nature began to take over. Plants were flourishing without the destructiveness of people. Animals now populated the planet alone. The fall of the human race came due to the war driven society. The world was forever changed after the fall of the human race.
